For the metric-series bands (Timeline trajectory mode, VersionDiff): the property on each source instance that holds the sub-resources to follow across the version series. Each referenced sub-resource is aligned across versions by its stable resource key (local name) — the same key appearing in successive versions becomes one series. Example: wv.hasThesis, so each thesis is one trajectory across snapshot versions.
