Sort Key

A single sort criterion: the property to read off each input plus the sort direction. Properties whose value is a list or a reference are not sortable — the loader errors. When the property is absent on some instances, those instances sort last for ascending order and first for descending order; this is fixed convention rather than configurable, since making it configurable invites four different "missing-value" policies for no real benefit.
