How strongly the resource matched the query — a similarity, typically a cosine similarity (higher is more similar; normalized embeddings give a value in roughly [-1, 1], in practice [0, 1] for relevant hits). A decimal so the UI can render it as a bar, a percentage, or a badge beside the matched resource, not just sort by it.
